"We hit an iceberg and [we] will fall on your head."
No radio operator aboard the Titanic wept a German ship, Frankfurt, shortly after hitting an iceberg 20 minutes before midnight, Sunday, April 14, 1912 the distress signal for hours over two years, half a boat close enough to the passengers of the ship save fatally injured. No ship was close enough (at least one ship with radio), and when the world's largest and most ship "unsinkable" slipped under the surface 2:20 glaciers North Atlantic, April 15, 1912, more than 1,500 passengers died.
