Work rules display area worldwide practices, culture

TOKYO (AP) - work rules vary from country to country generosity. Japan rules are not difficult, but the situation is almost unique. The employees are not off the days on which they are blessed because of a mentality that long hours.

Free day for a year

Japan: not less than 20 days, but workers tend not to eliminate them.

USA: is required by law and depends on the total order.

Great Britain: not less than 28 days, an average of 20 days.

France: Up to 30 days, 25 days on average.

Germany 24 days or more for those at work for more than six months, an average of 20 days.

South Korea: Up to 25 days.

WORKERS watch more than 49 hours per week

South Korea: 35.4 percent.

Japan: 21.7 percent.

Europe: For every 24 consecutive hours of work, the right to a minimum of 11 hours of arrest.

Japan: None.

USA: None.

South Korea: None.
