I think to start my own business. Would it be wrong to start doing it on the side while I was still at my current job?
ABS ABS ...... let me guess: You want to open a business ABS. Good for you! Now it seems that almost a professional overlap when you run the floor when you finally take the plunge.
But the key words of your question seems to be "on the side." Someone takes a self or mind is actually a new company , it is easy to get to the gray areas. For example, it is fine, on the "other project" during the hours of work when you have downtime? Or how to use office equipment company for your current job? (This color printer is just sitting there!) If your new business is in a similar range - and assuming you are a competition have not signed - may be even more difficult. Would existing customers to convince or even colleagues staff jump ship with you? Or have you betrayed the information confidential to use to take its implementation?
These are all questions that you really want to respond themselves, but to carefully consider as a precedent for the establishment of business ethics of your new business. Ask yourself: How would you like your future employee behavior in the same scenario?
