WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court dealt a blow to public sector unions Monday ruled that thousands of workers in home care in Illinois can not be forced to fees that cover the costs, help the association, pay bargaining.
In a split 5-4 along ideological lines, the judges said that the practice violates the First Amendment rights of non-members who do not agree with the position that take the unions.
