A recent report shows that most customers will be canceled credit card or their costs reduced, the high credit limit or interest lower, just because they are asked. This can save hundreds of dollars in fees and interest rates in recent years. The problem? None of these statements, except for a higher credit limit, more than a quarter of the cardholder is made, and only 11% applied for a lower annual fee, despite a success rate of 82% between those who have.

- 87% of cardholders who requested an exemption from the delay was successful.
- 69% of cardholders who offer lower an interest rate.
